Isotropic, high strength Mo.

Uniform properties in every direction. 35-42% elongation. No post-processing required.

Ductile, strong molybdenum, no post-processing.

MC700 is an isotropic engineering molybdenum made through MetalsFIRST™, Foundation Alloy’s solid-state process.

Grain structures roughly 100x finer than conventionally processed molybdenum provide high strength, as-sintered ductility, and uniform properties in every direction.

Key Properties

Room-temperature ductility with high as-sintered strength — no working or annealing required.

Percentage Elongation at Room Temperature

With superior ductility, MC700 can be handled, machined, and cycled like a conventional structural metal while retaining its high-temperature performance.

Semiconductor process equipment

Isotropic properties and dimensional stability under thermal cycling. No preferred orientation to engineer around.

Furnace Components

High thermal conductivity and a stable microstructure under sustained heat. MC700 holds its properties where conventional Mo degrades.

Structural hardware

High stiffness, uniform mechanical properties, and upgraded strength make MC700 a direct replacement for conventional Mo in demanding structural applications.

Availability

MC700 is available as finished parts and near-net-shape components, and in semi-finished stock
